Overview


Arunachal Pradesh "the land of dawn-lit mountains" is one of the 28 states of India and is the northeastern-most state of the country. Arunachal Pradesh borders the states of Assam and Nagaland to the south and shares international borders with Bhutan in the west, Myanmar in the east and is separated from China in the north by the McMahon Line. Itanagar is the capital of the state. Ita Fort, one of the most important historical sites in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The name literally means "Fort of bricks"( brick being called "Ita" in the Assamese language). The Ita Fort was built as early as the 14th or the 15th century.The fort has an irregular shape, built mainly with bricks dating back to the 14th-15th Century. The total brickwork is of 16,200 cubic metre lengths which have been identified by some scholars with the Chutiya kingdom. The fort has three different entrances at three different sides, which are western, the eastern and the southern sides. Jawaharlal Nehru Museum, Itanagar is also known for showcasing rich tribal culture of the state. Gekar sinyi (Ganga lake) is a beautiful natural lake which literally means confined lake in the Nyishi dialect. It is surrounded by a landmass of hard rock. Primeval vegetation, orchids masses on tall trees and tree ferns contribute to its popularity as a hot picnic spot and recreation hub. Boating facilities and a swimming pool are available at the site. Itinerary



Day 1:

Reach Itanagar , meet our representative at Itanagar bus stand , Check -in hotel relax .

Day 2:

After breakfast check-out hotel for sightseeing visit the state's most important historical sight, the Ita Fort, from which the capital gets its name. The Craft Centre & Emporium at Itanagar is next point to visit and is a great place to admire and buy local arts and craft one can find traditional costumes, paintings, sculptures, handicrafts and more such local delights here. For lunch, head to Zero Point for a variety of Indian cuisine or to Poong Nest to try the local delicacies of Arunachal Pradesh. Late in the afternoon, leave for Tezu, which is about eight hours ( 372 kilometres) by road , check - in hotel in Tezu .

Day 3:

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing in Tezu for Parshuram kund (A hindu pilgrimage temple) in Lohit and take a dip in holy river flowing side by the temple. After spending sometime over ther we'll further move to Golden Pagoda (a Buddhist Monestry) in Namsai district and spend some precious time over there moving further get back to hotel.

Day 4:

Early Morning drive to Mehao Lake along with Mishimi hills, where Hill experience the beautiful sunrise, after that a hard but exciting 7 hours track will be there to the lake. Now just make yourself comfortable, relax and move back to the hotel.

Day 5:

After breakfast explore the magnificent landscapes in Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary , Sally lake & Namdhpa National Park etc.

Day 6:

After breakfast checkout hotel , reach Itanagar , driver will drop you off to bus stand , trip ends .
